Creating Light Of Mind

 Created for Mini Jam 90, a 72 hr community run game jam. Light of mind was created as part of a two person team within UE4 and aimed to show off interesting puzzle design concepts revolving around light.
While development only spanned the 72hr period of the game jam, the primary result was an interesting USP puzzle design focusing on the use of redirecting light beams with crystals around the level. This then drove the projects focus towards utilizing this mechanic to help demonstrate  rational level design theory.
My primary contributions to this project were Level & Puzzle design with some focus on technical design programming.

Future Goals

While currently not in development, there are were a number of puzzle designs and advanced mechanics that were not implemented during the game Jam period. Any continued development on the project would see the expansion of the existing crystal mechanics, utilising a broader range of environmental puzzles to utilise the Crystal mechanic to its full extent and further advance my understanding of Rational level design theory.
